Detailed description

Atlantis Golf Club, is a Private, 27 hole golf facility located in Atlantis, Florida. Atlantis Golf Club has three 9-hole golf courses. These courses can be combined in pairs to form three different 18-hole course challenges. The nine-hole courses are The South Course, The North Course, and The East Course.

The Atlantis Golf Club Golf Course first opened in 1960. The course was designed by William F. Mitchell.

The City of Atlantis is located between Palm Beach and Boynton Beach, with Delray Beach and Boca Raton just down the road. This William Mitchell golf course design is carved throughout a beautiful and inviting community. Each of the 27 golf holes offers their own unique scenic views, abundance of lakes, mature trees, and exotic birds. The North and South Courses feature fast, undulating greens and many tree-lined fairways. The East Course is the more scenic course because of the many lateral water hazards. All three courses will challenge the expert golfer from the back tees. This Palm Beach golf course offers Old Florida charm combined with updated practice facility and course layouts.

The City of Atlantis was originally an 828-acre farm used to raise Brahman cattle. The farm was purchased and joined with two other parcels of land in 1958 and the development of Atlantis, a golfer's haven began. In 1960, an Inn and Clubhouse with an 18-hole golf course was designed and constructed. Soon after, a third nine-hole course (the East course) was built and opened. These facilities were known as the Atlantis Country Club & Inn, a semi-private facility with area property owners permitted to join on an annual basis. In the early 1970's the Atlantis Country Club & Inn was sold and the club became the Atlantis Golf Club, a private club. Actual purchase and transfer of the Club property was completed on December 29, 1972.

Ted McAnlis redesigned the courses in the 1980's and John Sanford Jr. redesigned the courses in 2003.

South Course: par-36, 3,429 yards.

North Course: par-36, 3,397 yards.

East Course: par-36, 3,408 yards.
