Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course - Regulation, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Boca Raton, Florida.
The City of Boca Raton owns and operates two excellent golf facilities for Boca Raton residents, their guests, and the general public. The Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course facility with its Championship and Executive Course are conveniently located on Golf Course Road on the north side of Glades Road and 1/4 mile west of the Glades Road Exit of the Florida Turnpike.
A second municipal facility, The Red Reef Park Executive Golf Course is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, approximately 3/4 mile north of Palmetto Park Road and about 2 miles south of Spanish River Boulevard, on U.S. Highway A1A. (North Ocean Blvd.)
The Glades Road facility (Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course) located at 8111 Golf Course Road features an 18-hole, 6,514 yards, par 72 Championship course, and a 9-hole, 1,877 yards, par 30 Executive Course. Designed by Charles Ankrom and first opened for play in 1982, both courses are situated in a 210-acre park setting of manicured greens, fairways, mature trees, and winding lakes.
Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course - Championship offers four sets of tees from which to play, offering golfers of every level a challenge while making it an enjoyable experience.
The facility also offers a full-service Pro Shop, Driving Range, Putting and Chipping Greens, and Practice Sand Bunker.
Blue Tees: 6,514 yards.
White Tees: 6,105 yards.
Gold Tees: 5,775 yards.
Red Tees: 5,306 yards.
The course closed on October 17, 2021.
The city of Boca Raton sold the Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course (Executive and Regulation) to GL Homes to build a housing development.
