Swiss Fairways, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Clermont, Florida
Swiss Fairways was designed by Steve Nugent. he course first opened in 1991.
Holes 9-15 all feature water hazards. The signature hole is #2, a short par-3. From an elevated tee box, a precise shot is needed. In addition to the undulating green and protective sand traps, you must hit over a small lake to avoid a water ball.
The lake, and several others throughout the course, are no ordinary lakes, but man-built to serve the nearby Swiss Ski School. The school is a training ground for aspiring and professional water skiers and wakeboarders. So, when attempting a shot on the second hole, remember to do as the nearby-posted sign recommends, "Stop! Allow boats to pass before teeing off." While water dominates the landscape and challenges you, there are also more than 135 sand traps. If that's not enough, two back-9 par 5s have almost 1,200 yards between them (#10, 608 yards and #18, 590 yards). This par-71, 6,725-yard plays very tough if your game is not spot on.
Blue tees: par-72, 6,725 yards, 74.0 / 135
