Fisher Island Club

Fisher Island Club is a resort, 9 hole golf course located in Fisher Island, Florida, located off the tip of Miami's South Beach. Fisher Island is one of Florida's most luxurious resorts and the former winter estate of William Vanderbilt ll. 

The island can only be accessed via a 7-minute ferry ride. The Fisher Island Club Hotel and Resort has a private beach with white sand imported from The Bahamas, a championship golf course, 18 tennis courts, two deep-water marinas, a variety of casual and formal dining venues, a full-service spa, and a salon and fitness center, as well as an aviary with dozens of exotic birds.

Fisher Island Club first opened for play in 1989. The course was designed by P. B. Dye.

Each hole offers a different challenge, from lakes and lagoons to carefully sculpted bunkers and tall fescue lining the fairways. Elevated tees provide beautiful scenery as well. One of the most memorable holes is the par-4 seventh. This beautiful 390-yard hole plays along the shipping channel that yachts and cruise ships use coming to and from Miami. Golfers enjoy the course since it offers championship design features in a quick nine holes. In addition to the course, there is also a driving range and short-game area for golfers to use.

Par for the course is 35. From the back tees, the course plays to 3100 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2240 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 540 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 130 yards from the back tees.</p><p>Watch out for # 4, a 455 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 3, a 130 yard par-3.
