Olde Hickory Golf & Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Fort Myers, Florida.
The course was designed by Ron Garl. Olde Hickory first opened for play in 1992.
The course is somewhat open with little rough but compensates with swampland everywhere. All eighteen holes either have swamp or some kind of water hazard coming into play. The greens are very large, undulating, and range from medium to fast in speed.
The signature hole is #17, is a 179-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to an island green.
The course has six sets of tees to accommodate as much challenge as you want to dial in. Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,504 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,585 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 552 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 174 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, a 394-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at is # 14, a 339 yard par-4.
