West End Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole executive length golf course located in Gainesville, Florida,
West End Golf Course first opened for play in 1969. John E. O'Connor designed the course.
The course was patterned on the layout after Colonial Palms in Miami. West End Golf Course is a night-lighted course that stays open until midnight. The tree-lined fairways are gently rolling, so walking the course isn't very difficult. The greens are elevated and slightly undulating. The thick tree lines and narrow approaches to the small greens are challenging.
West End Golf Course measures 3,940 yards from the back tees. Par for the course is 60. The course rating is 59.0, with a slope rating of 117.
