Deerwood Club, The, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Jacksonville, Florida.
Deerwood first opened for play in 1960. The course was designed by George Cobb. The entire golf facility underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2004. Noted golf course architect Brian Silva created the new design, using original architect George Cobb's generous core routing.
In the 1970's, Deerwood was host to several Greater Jacksonville Opens, the predecessor for today's Players Championship currently held in Ponte Vedra.
The par-72 course has five sets of tees ranging from 5,463 from the reds to 7,223 from the championship tees.
