Detailed description

Hyde Park Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Jacksonville, Florida.

This course first opened for play in 1925. It was designed by Donald Ross. Hyde Park was a tour stop on the men's and ladies' Professional Tour in the 1940s and 50s. The Jacksonville opened hosted golf greats to include, Byron Nelson, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Babe Zaharias, Micky Wright, Louis Suggs, and Patty Berg. Play this course and you play along with history.

The fairways are lined with Spanish Oak and Southern Pines on every hole. Water comes into play on six holes. The signature hole is #6, a 151-yard, par 3, named "Hogan's Valley" because this is the hole on which Ben Hogan shot an infamous eleven.

This old style traditional course plays to a Par 72 for men and a Par 73 for women. From the blue tees the course plays to 6,470 yards, from the white tees the course plays to 6,153 yards and from the red tees the course measures 5,560 yards.
