Magnolia Plantation Golf Club first opened for play in 2000. The course was designed by David Harman. There was a minor redesign in 2005 by Tommy Fazio (Tom's nephew).
Magnolia Plantation Golf Course has visually stunning layout with distinctly different holes, all carved out of the Wekiva River Basin. The course is surrounded by a variety of hardwood trees and native vegetation, the fairways are gently rolling and weave through an upscale real estate development, where water can be found on 15 holes. The golf course features a parkland style layout with dramatic elevation changes, tree-lined fairways, and several multi-tiered, undulating greens. Natural outcropping of trees and ravines line each hole and guard the greens for extra challenge. The par 3's and 4's are extremely challenging while the par 5's give the player an opportunity for par and the illusive birdie.
Magnolia Plantation Golf Course is a par-72 layout that plays to 7,175 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 75.2 with a slope rating of 144.
