Rolling Hills Golf Club has an old style charm. The course has rolling terrain, strategically located lakes, and well manicured greens. Numerous sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design. There are lots of traps to avoid. The greens have lots of twists and turns, even on short putts.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,231 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 5,393 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 504 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 136 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 2, a 393 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Rolling Hills is # 11, a 159 yard par-3.
The course closed July 2014. There is talk that buyers are interested in turning the property into low density housing.
