Suntree Country Club, Challenge Course

Suntree Country Club is a Private, 36 hole golf facility located in Melbourne , Florida. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses. They are The Challenge Course and The Classic Course.

The Challenge Course opened in 1989. The Challenge Course was designed by Arnold Palmer.

Both courses have enough sand bunkers, water hazards, and trees to challenge any skill level. 

The Challenge Course is a links-style design with more water that comes into play than on the Classic Course.  The signature hole on the Challenge Course is #7, a 576-yard, par 5, with water that comes into play the entire left side of the fairway and in front of the green.

Par for The Challenge Course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,945 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,473 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, the par-5 signature hole that plays to 576 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 203 yards from the back tees.

# 7, the signature hole, is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 17, a 209 yard par-3.
