Cypress Woods Golf & Country Club

Cypress Woods Golf & Country Club is a Private, 18-hole golf course located in Naples, Florida.

Cypress Woods Golf Course first opened for play in 1998. The course was designed by Gordon G. Lewis.

The course is located in a natural preserve and features fairly flat terrain and plenty of wetlands. The course plays rather tight due to narrow, mounded fairways. However, the greens are large and offer little undulation, allowing for a true putting surface.

#16, a par-3, plays to 205 from the back tees and 113 from the front. From any tee box, this hole is visually intimidating with a waste bunker to the right that winds among the tee boxes and the largest lake on the course framing the left side of the hole.

Water comes into play on seventeen holes, including #9, a 551-yard, par 5.  A stand of cypress to the right and a native area to the left demand accuracy off the tee.  The green is protected in the front by a lake, complete with an impressive water fountain.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,243 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,167 yards. The longest holes on the course are # 9 and #18, and both par-5's that play to 536 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 115 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 2, a 400-yard par-4 challenge, and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Cypress Woods Golf Course is # 12, the 115-yard par-3.
