Hibiscus Golf Club

Hibiscus Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Naples, Florida.

Hibiscus Golf Club first opened in 1969. The course was renovated and redesigned n 2006 by Dave Wallace.

In 1992, Hurricane Andrew uprooting or destroyed almost a third of the course's original palms, oaks, and other mature trees. In 2005 Hurricane Wilma wiped out another 300 trees on this course. The feel of the course was affected. Plans to update and renovate were put in place. This design work was handled by Dave Wallace.

Like many Florida layouts, you'll find the fairways at the Hibiscus golf course fairly flat; however, they are generous, well maintained and lined with a variety of native Hibiscus trees. Water is in play on 12 of the 18 holes, and that alone will make a real test of your skills. Wide fairways, bunkered greens, and numerous lakes and streams make each hole a new challenge and a pleasure to play.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,476 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,925 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 14, a par-5 that plays to 539 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 183 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 14, the 539 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Hibiscus Golf Club is # 3, the 183 yard par-3.
