Lake Nona Golf & Country Club

Lake Nona Golf & Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Orlando, Florida. less than 30 minutes from Orlando International Airport.

This Tom Fazio-designed championship golf course opened for play in 1986.

The club received a big boost when David Ledbetter established the first US franchise of his golf academy at Lake Nona. About the same time, the course was selected to host the inaugural Solheim Cup tournament (1990). 

The course borders the Shores of Lake Nona, from which the course derives its name. This part of Florida is mainly flat, but this course has terrain variation as it winds its way through woodlands and wetlands. It's the home club for a number of Tour pros, including Henrik Stenson, Ian Poulter and Graeme McDowell (whose Nona Blue restaurant is just a couple minutes away).
