Detailed description

PGA Golf Club in PGA Village - Dye Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

Owned and operated by The PGA of America, and ranked No. 30 in GolfWorld's inaugural "Reader's Choice Awards Top 50 Public Golf Courses," as well as among the "75 Best Golf Resorts in North America" by Golf Digest, PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, Fla., offers 54 holes of Championship golf by Tom Fazio and Pete Dye. The facility has three 18-hole golf courses. They are the Pete Dye designed PGA Golf Club in PGA Village - Dye Course, and the Tom Fazio designed PGA Golf Club in PGA Village - Wanamaker Course and Ryder Course.

What is now the Dye Course first opened for play in 1999. The PGA Golf Club Dye Course is the result of a collaboration between the PGA of America and Pete Dye, a vast redevelopment of a one-time resort course. As is often the case with Dye courses, he makes great use large waste bunkers and grass based bunkers to create an open air effect that still reguires target golf. The Pete Dye designed PGA Golf Club Dye Course opened for play in 2007.

The 18-hole PGA Golf Club Dye Course at Port St. Lucie, Florida plays 7,150 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 74.6 and the slope is 133.
