Royal St. Augustine Golf and Country Club

Royal St. Augustine Golf and Country Club is a public 18-hole golf course located in Saint Augustine, Florida.

The course first opened for play in 2001. The course was designed by Christopher Commins.

The course has large elevated greens. There are a variety of bunker shapes and sizes. Moguled fairways and sandy waste areas are two other prominent aspects of the course. It is a tight course with large greens and gentle undulations. The layout provides a “target-golf” experience that puts a premium on accuracy and distance control. 

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,529 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,569 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 1, a par-5 that plays to 549 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 151 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 12, a 504-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Royal Saint Augustine Golf Course is # 8, a 181 yard par-3.
