The Palencia Club

The Palencia Club is a private 18-hole golf course located in Saint Augustine, Florida.

The course first opened for play May 2002. The course architect was Arthur Hills.

This challenging golf course winds through centuries-old maritime oak trees and along the Intracoastal Waterway. Overlooking the ninth and eighteenth greens is the three story, 33,000 square foot clubhouse with formal dining, casual Café on the Green, 19th Hole, full service golf shop, locker rooms, meeting facilities and large banquet rooms where members enjoy parties, dances and a host of social events. 

The generous practice area includes a 400-yard double-sided range along with 10,000 square feet of putting and chipping areas.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,073 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,936 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 578 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 15, a par-3 that plays to 172 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 4, a 534-yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at The Palencia Club is # 15, a 172 yard par-3.
