Okeeheelee Golf Course is a Public, 27 hole golf course facility located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The facility has three 9-hole courses, they are The Heron Course, The Osprey Course, and The Eagle Course. The three nine-hole courses can be played in three different 18-hole combinations.
Okeeheelee first opened for play in 1995. The courses were designed by Roy Case.
Each hole has five tees to play from, so every skill level will feel comfortable playing here. All three courses are similar in design. The terrain is fairly flat, the fairways are basically wide open, and the tees are slightly elevated. There are a total of forty-three ponds coming into play on all the courses. The tiered greens are average in size and speed. With its unique park setting and beautiful vistas of Clear Lake, the facility is aptly named Okeeheelee, or "quiet waters" in the Seminole Indian language.
The 9-hole Heron Course plays to a maximum distance of 3,547 yards and a par of 36. The course rating is 36.9 and the slope rating is 64.
The 9-hole Osprey Course plays to a maximum distance of 3,279 yards and a par of 36. The course rating is 35.7 and the slope rating is 66.
