Ironwood Golf Club, CLOSED 2013

Ironwood Golf Course at Lake Blakeshear Plantation is a public 18-hole golf course located in Cordele, Georgia.

The course first opened for play in 1995. The course was designed by Ray Jensen.

The course was built on what is essentiality a flat property. There is plenty of water around the course, and some lovely planted areas, but trees are minimal and there are no elevation changes to speak of, so it’s an excellent walking course.

Ironwood Golf Course plays to a maximum distance of 6,930 yards. This is a challenging course with rolling and well bunkered fairways and greens, with lakes and streams coming into play.
