Dunwoody Country Club golf course first opened for play in 1967. The course was designed by Willard C. Byrd.
The Dunwoody Country Club course is long and hilly. Water hazards (five lakes) come into play on six holes, including two par 3's that call for a carry over water and are beautiful. The greens are very fast and undulating. There are a few elevated greens and tee boxes. No two holes are alike, there are no parallel fairways and every hole offers its own unique challenges.
Dunwoody Country Club golf course plays to 7,002 yards from the back tees for a course rating of 74.0 with a slope rating of 141. The course par is 72.
