Legacy on Lanier Golf Club is a Resort 18 hole golf course located in Lake Lanier Islands, Georgia.
The course first opened for play in 1988 and was designed by Joe Lee. The course was renovated and upgraded by architect Billy Fuller in 2010.
Legacy on Lanier Golf Club offers stunning views of the Lake Lanier. The layout traverses a natural setting with twelve scenic holes on the water.
#4 is a somewhat short par 4 (375, 362, 338, or 320 yards depending on tee box) that plays to a peninsular style green wather water on all 3 sides.
#12, a 370 yard par-4 has a long carry over the lake. This hole is a classic risk reward as you can cut as much of the corner off as you dare.
#14, is a tough 441 yard par-4 (back tees) with a long carry.
All of the par 3's are picturesque and most include a water hazard.
Par for the course is 72. From the forward tees the course measures 6,580 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 564 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 166 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 557 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 10, a 171 yard par-3.
