Willow Lake Golf Club is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Metter, Georgia.
Willow Lake Golf Club first opened for play in 1964. Originally a 9-hole course, the course was expanded to 18 holes in 1991. The course was designed by Dan Lanier, Kennedy Dekle, and C.B. Jones
The club derived its name from a lake - or really a series of lakes - lined by willow trees in the heart of what was to become an eighteen hole course. The course is a tight parkland design. Some of the fairways on this course are fairly wide and mounded, while others are very narrow and lined by pine trees. There are lakes that come into play on five holes. Some of the greens are elevated, and all the greens are very fast.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6401 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,864 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 3, a par- that plays to 548 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par- that plays to 155 yards from the back tees.
