Callaway Gardens Resort, Lake View Golf Course, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
The Lake View golf course is Callaway's original course. The course first opened for play in 1952 as a 9-hill challenge designed by J.B. McGovern. The course was renovated in 2002. The changes include new bunkers, TifEagle greens, new cart paths and improved landscaping.
Lake View's challenge lies in its nine water holes. Its landscaping of azaleas, dogwoods and seasonal flowers makes the challenge beautiful.
The 6,031-yard par 70 course is well known for hole Number 10 with its island tee and serpentine bridge over Mountain Creek Lake to the green in front of the original clubhouse.
From the blue tees, the course rating is 68.6 with a slope rating of 123. From ladies' tees, the course rating is 71.1 and the slope is 121.
