The Landings Club, The Magnolia Course

The Landings Club is a Private Club, located in Savannah, Georgia.

The Club has six 18-hole Championship golf courses designed for Landings Club members and their guests by four master architects. - Arnold Palmer, Willard Byrd, Arthur Hills, and Tom Fazio. Each course is stylistically unique, showcasing the natural beauty of Skidaway Island as well as the distinctive mark of its designer.

The Magnolia Course at The Landings Club was the second of the 6 Landing Club's courses. The front nine opened for play in 1977 and the back nine followed in 1979. This was Arnold Palmer's second design at The Landings, where he worked with long-time associate Ed Seay.

Many feel that Magnolia's opening nine holes represent the best of golf at The Landings. The back nine offers the player some relief from the tough front, but an off-line hit on the back can be costly as there are many twists and turns and six holes with water.

The 18th hole is a very tough par four, over and around a lagoon, to an elevated green.
