The Oakridge Course was the fifth of The Landings Club's six golf courses.The Club has six 18-hole Championship golf courses designed for Landings Club members and their guests by four master architects. - Arnold Palmer, Willard Byrd, Arthur Hills, and Tom Fazio. Each course is stylistically unique, showcasing the natural beauty of Skidaway Island as well as the distinctive mark of its designer.
The Oakridge Course opened for play in 1988. The course was designed by Arthur Hills. The course is of moderate length, but Hills use of water, bunkers, marsh, and his famous trademark split level fairways makes this course one of the sportiest on the island.
Oakridge is the perfect place for golfers that fancy themselves as shot-makers, as strategy and accuracy are a must. The back nine is where Oakridge truly comes alive, including the famed 15th hole, nicknamed the "Cemetery Hole" as it features a historic gravesite of some of the early residents of Skidaway Island.
