The Landings Club, The Plantation Course

The Landings Club is a Private Club, located in Savannah, Georgia.

The Plantation Course was the third of The Landings Club's six golf courses.The Club has six 18-hole Championship golf courses designed for Landings Club members and their guests by four master architects. - Arnold Palmer, Willard Byrd, Arthur Hills, and Tom Fazio. Each course is stylistically unique, showcasing the natural beauty of Skidaway Island as well as the distinctive mark of its designer.

The Plantation Course opened for play March 1982. The course was designed by Willard Byrd.

The Plantation is the only Landings Club course designed to give players the full links golf experience. The front nine goes out to the southwesterly tip of the island, and the back returns to the old country style, Plantation Clubhouse. The 8th, 9th, and 10th holes overlook the marsh, Adams Creek, and Ossabaw Sound, and the entire course offers golfers incomparable views of surrounding marsh, lagoons, and beautiful oaks.

Tight fairways require precise ball placement to stay in play and have a good shot to the greens.
