Georgia Southern University Golf Course is a public, 18-hole golf course located in Statesboro, Georgia.
The course opened October 2013. The course was built over the Arthur Davis designed Southern Links Golf Club Golf Course which opened in 1985 and closed in 2009. The new Georgia Southern University Golf Course was designed by Bob Walker.
Ron Whitten, editor of Golf Digest, in describing the course said, "The Georgia Southern Golf Course is beautiful, playable and affordable. Using the old pine-lined corridors (of the Southern Links Course), the new course had an instant maturity, with holes six through eight wrapping around a large glistening lake that is a particular highlight."
The facility also has a driving range, practice putting and chipping greens, along with a renovated 8,000 square foot clubhouse, which includes a pro shop, snack bar, and meeting space.
Water is in play on 11 of the 18 holes, and the course has 53 bunkers in the fairways around the greens.
