The Golf Club of South Georgia, previously named Sunsweet Hills Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Tifton, Georgia.
The Golf Club of South Georgia first opened for play in 1992. The course was designed by Don MacMillian with special consulting work from E. Ray Jensen.
The course was designed among a beautiful pecan orchard and sets on 397 acres of gently rolling hills overlooking Mar-Jan Lake. The layout includes water hazards and over 85 bunkers.
Mar-Jan Lake comes into play on four holes, and three ponds come into play on another four holes highlighted by their signature par 3 island green.
