Maui Nui Golf Course, previously named Elleair Golf Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Kihei, Hawaii.
The course was designed by Bill Newis and opened in 1987. The 18-hole course has a course rating of 72 and a slope rating of 124 on Bermuda grass.
The Maui Nui Golf Course features narrow fairways and scenic ocean views, and the course is usually more enjoyable to play during the mornings when the wind is not blowing as hard. From December to March one can watch the whales jump around offshore while one plays.
