Detailed description

Huntsman Springs Golf Club is a Private 18-hole golf course located in Driggs, Idaho, about 45 minutes from Jackson.

Huntsman Springs Golf Club opened in 2009. The course was designed by David McLay Kidd, the Bandon Dunes architect.

Huntsman Springs is a master planned community in Driggs, Idaho that has been financed by Jon Huntsman, former CEO of the Huntsman Corporation and founder of the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. All proceeds from Huntsman Springs will be donated to the cancer institute. The community is located in the shadow of the Teton Mountains in a valley between the watershed and wetland edge.

With the stunning Teton Mountains as a backdrop, Huntsman Springs blends seamlessly into its native lands with the graceful contours, fishable ponds, aspen trees, willow and Irish Links fescue. Players have a sense of vast open spaces with views in every direction. Playing the course reflects the impeccable quality of the design and construction with fairways that average 80 yards wide, greens that average 10,000 sq. ft., 153 bunkers and 450,000 cubic yards of sand to maintain contour and promote drainage. Huntsman Springs provides championship conditions throughout the season.

The course isn't your average game of golf; it's an experience. Built with replay value in mind, this course lends golfers an array of options and strategies to get the most of their game, including split fairways and a multitude of bunkers. Huntsman Springs is an avaricious course and could take a lifetime before it gives up all of its secrets.

Although Huntsman Springs Golf Course and Club is located in the town of Driggs, it has a 500-acre wildlife refuge all around. The greens at Huntsman Springs are HUGE! They average 10,000 square feet and have plenty of speed, movement, and undulation. The course has some split fairways and over 150 bunkers. The course plays to a par of 72 and measures 7,331 yards. Never fear, there are multiple tee boxes to accommodate all skill levels.
