Eagle Hills Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Eagle, Idaho.
Eagle Hills Golf Course first opened for play in 1960 as a nine hole layout. The course was designed by C. Edward Trout. The course was expanded to 18 holes in 1975. The new nine were designed by Bob E. and Robert L. Baldock
Different designers are one of the reasons, topography is the other reason of why the front and back are like night and day difference. The front has hills and OB and the back is flat and wide open. The course has water hazards coming into play on many holes. The greens are undulating and difficult to read. Houses and trees lining most of the fairways.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,410 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,191 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 519 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 124 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 402 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Eagle Hills Golf Course is # 11, a 144 yard par-3. Hole #5, a 171-yard, par 3, requires a tee shot over water to a large green.
