Teton Lakes Golf Course
Teton Lakes Golf Course first opened for play in 1987. The original 18 hole course (The North Fork Nine and The South Fork Nine) was designed by Billy Casper. The Middle Fork Nine opened for play in 2009. The Middle Fork Nine was designed by Rick Phelps.
This municipal golf facility is surrounded by lakes, rivers and canals. The 27 holes consists of a parkland nine holes (The North Fork Nine), a likeside nine holes (The South Fork Nine) and the links style nine holes (The Middle Fork Nine).
The North Fork Nine is fairly flat and has wide open fairways, great for the occasional slice or hook or whatever you want to call it. You will still be challenged by the trees, canals, sand, and wind.
The South Fork Nine will test your accuracy and patience. Not as long as the front, the back nine features numerous hazzards including narrow tree lined fairways, water almost everywhere you look, dog legs, blind shots, and challenging greens. You may want to pack a few extra golf balls.
The Middle Fork Nine is a links style course.
Although the Nines at Teton Lakes Golf Course can be played in different combinations, as a matter of practice, the facility uses the original 18 as an 18 hole course and the Middle Fork is typically used for those who want to play only 9 holes or want to add 9 holes on to their 18-hole game.
