Lacoma Golf Club is a Public, 45 hole golf course facility located in East Dubuque, Illinois. Lacoma Golf Club is golf headquarters in the tri-state area. The course is situated in the wooded hills of the Mississippi River valley only five minutes from downtown Dubuque, Iowa and 15 minutes from Historic Galena, Illinois.
The facility has an eighteen hole regulation course (The Blue Course), plus two regulation nine hole courses (The Red Course and The Gold Course) and the nine hole (The Par 3 Course). The courses opened in 1972 and all were designed by Gordon Cunningham.
All the courses are tree lined and afford spectacular views. Though water hazards only occasionally come into play on these courses, sand bunkers have been incorporated into the designs of nearly every hole.

The most challenging of the Lacoma courses is the Blue Course. Its signature hole is #16, a 520-yard, par 5, featuring a double dogleg fairway.
