Glenview Park Golf Club, originally named Chesterfield Golf Course, is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Glenview, Illinois.
The course first opened for play in 1927 and was designed by Joseph A. Roseman. Larry Packard redesigned this course in 1961, followed by Ken Killian in 1985 and Rick Jacobson in 2015.
Since 1955, when the Glenview Park District purchased the Chesterfield Golf Course and began operating it as the Glenview Park Golf Club, the course has been continually upgraded and improved
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 6,113 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4874 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 527 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 140 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 420 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Glenview Park Golf Club is # 17, the 140 yard par-3.
This shoemakers' course was designed with the average golfer in mind. The terrain is flat, and water hazards (ponds) come into play several times.
