Golf at Lockhaven, previously a private club named Lockhaven Country Club, is a now a public, 18 hole golf course. The course is located on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River between Alton, and Grafton in Godfrey, Illinois.

The course was designed by Robert B. Harris and first opened in 1955.

The course closed in November 2014.

Long before the economic downturn, when manufacturing entities like Laclede Steel and Owens-Illinois Glass were thriving in the area, the once-private facility had more than 500 members. Membership was down to 150 when the lights went out in 2014.

The course reopened in 2017 with a new name, Golf at Lockhaven, new management, and an open to the public policy. They address of the course also changed from Alton to Godfrey although the course has not moved.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,679 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,457 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-5 that plays to 557 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 146 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 5, a 419-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Lockhaven is # 13, a 171 yard par-3.
