Grayslake Golf Course opened for play in 2000. The course was designed by Greg Martin.
Grayslake Park District operates a nine-hole par 3 golf course. This sporty course will challenge experienced golfers and novice duffers alike and features holes between one hundred and one hundred sixty yards in length with water coming into play on six of the nine holes. The course has a small clubhouse with snack bar, pro shop and club rental. The course is located on Drury Lane south of Rollins Road and is a result of a generous 1.5 million dollar park donation from Cambridge Homes. This course was built on what was previously a swamp. It has few mature trees. These two features make this a very difficult course if you are not very accurate, or if it is windy. Water/ wetlands are in play on 7 of 9 holes. Bunkers are located strategically to make it even more difficult.
Grayslake Golf Course plays to a 9-hole par of 27 and a maximum 9-hole distance of 1,187 yards.
