Joliet Golf Club has been one of Chicagoland’s premier golf courses since 1905 and for the first time in its 114-year history, beginning in 2019, is open to public play.
The course was designed by Tom Bendelow.

The course closed on February 4, 2020.
The Joliet Golf Club, which had been the Joliet Country Club for 114 years until last year, announced on February 4th that it is closing.
“The golf course, the restaurant, clubhouse and pro shop will be closed effective immediately,” said a statement issued by attorney David Silverman on behalf of the owners.
There has been speculation that the property will be redeveloped for warehouses.
