Stone Creek Golf Course, CLOSED 2015

Stone Creek Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Makanda, Illinois. Stone Creek Golf Club is located in Southern Illinois next to Shawnee National Forest and Giant City State Park.

Stone Creek Golf Course first opened for play in 2000. The course was designed by Jerry Lemons.

The course has a natural rolling terrain that will present a challenge to golfers of all handicaps.

Blue tees: par-72, 6,875 yards, 74.0 / 140

White tees: par-72, 6,405 yards, 71.9 / 136

Red tees: par-72, 5,402 yards.

The golf course has been closed since early 2015, The course was purchased by new owners December 2015. The course will remain closed until early 2017. 2016 will be a year of restoration and renovation, getting the course back into shape. The course will be renamed Keller's Crossing at Stone Creek
