Prairie Lakes Golf Course was built on hilly terrain. Occasionally, sand bunkers come into play on the course, and the wind can sometimes make your round very challenging. There are two huge water hazards, one that comes into play on hole #4, a 360-yard, par 4, and the other comes into play on a variety of holes. Hole #2, a 336-yard, par 4, has a dogleg right fairway. Adjacent to this facility is a hunters and trap-shooting club.
