Urbana Golf & Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Urbana, Illinois.
Urbana Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1922. The course was designed by Tome Bendelow. The course was renovated by Dick Nugent
The Urbana Country Club has one of the most picturesque and challenging 18-hole golf courses in the area. The championship level course is both playable and challenging. This tract of land with its large oak trees and lush fairways is inviting to the novice and to the experienced golfer alike. The fairways are generous, with only a few trees that can alter your shots, and the greens are small. There are water hazards that come into play alongside six holes, and there are sand bunkers on every hole.
The driving range is a full-service facility hitting off the grass.
The course remains open as long as the season weather permits, that usually means opening in March and closing in November.
