Lost Marsh Golf Course

Lost Marsh Golf Course is a Public, 27-hole golf facility located in Hammond, Indiana. The Lost Marsh Golf Course facility has an 18-hole championship course in addition to a 9-hole executive course.

Lost Marsh, Executive Course opened in 2000. The course was designed by Charles Howard.

The City of Hammond Indiana through its Redevelopment Commission (HRC) was faced with the restoration of a 350 acre industrial slag dump site in north Hammond.

A low permeability cap was designed and installed over the Phase I 40-acre Youth Golf Academy site using 60,000 cubic yards of Bottom Ash found on the site. The cap met the Indiana Voluntary Remediation project guidelines and provided a $1.5mm cost savings while recycling the material on site.

The course features pristine conditions with lush fairways and fast, true greens. Located close to Chicago, golfers can expect to enjoy views of the city during their rounds.

Lost Marsh Golf Course is a mix of links and parkland-style designs. The hybrid design offers a fun, unique challenge for experienced players, but also allows beginners to fall in love with the game as well.
