Designed by Mel Shufflebarger, the course first opened for play in 1973.

Par for the course is 54. Walnut Ridge plays to 2,340 yards. Men and Ladies share the seem tee boxes. The longest hole on the course is # 8 a par-3 that plays to 210 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 60 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 17, a 185-yard par-3 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 9, a 165 yard par-3.

The course closed in 2013. The property is now the Woodside Community Church
