West Links Estates Golf Course, CLOSED 2014

West Links Estates Golf Course is a Public, 10 hole golf course located in Alta, Iowa.

West Links Estates was designed by Paul Koth and opened in 1995.

This executive course offers a 10-hole layout; hole #10 is a 116-yard, par 3. The design features hilly terrain, accented by 500 young trees and a creek meandering through the property. In contrast to most courses in the area, West Links' greens are all well-undulated, making for challenging putting surfaces. 

The signature hole is #4, a 132-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a three-acre, man-made lake.

The course plays to a 9-hole par-28 and 1,492 yards.

The course closed in 2014.

In 1995, Paul and Donna Koth designed and started West Links estates, a 21 lot housing development, with a 10-hole executive golf course. 

The course closed at the end of the 2014 season. Holes 4-10 were incorporated into the new Maple Creek housing development, with 10 large beautiful mini acreages.
