Riverview Club

Riverview Club is a Private, 9 hole golf course located in Keosauqua, Iowa. Although the course is private, the course is "Open to the Public" for non Van Buren County residents. The course is near the Des Moines River, and the course is named River View, but don't be mislead, you can't see the river.

Riverview Club first opened for play in 1970. The course was designed by Leo Johnson.

This hilly nine-hole course has narrow fairways, and the greens are in excellent shape. Water hazards and trees come into play throughout the course. The course reportedly has the longest par 3 in Iowa, measuring 246 yards. 

Par for the course is 36. From the back tees, the course plays to 3,067 yards. From the forward tees, the course plays to a par-37 and measures 2,657 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 478 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 9, a par-3 that plays to 146 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 4, this 246-yard par-3 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Riverview is # 5, a 355 yard par-4.
