The course is near the Des Moines River, and the course is named River View, but don't be mislead, you can't see the river.
Riverview Club first opened for play in 1970. The course was designed by Leo Johnson.

Watch out for # 4, this 246-yard par-3 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Riverview is # 5, a 355 yard par-4.
