Olathea Golf Course is a Public 9 hole golf course located in Le Claire, Iowa.

Olathea Golf Course first opened for play in 1984. The course was designed by Randy Leander.

The Park-Land style course sits on hilly ground with views of the Mississippi River.

Par for the course is 36. From the back tees, the course plays to 3,032 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,513 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 416 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 138 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 6, a 416 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 5, a 271 yard par-4.

The course closed in 2018.

Susan Leander has closed Olathea Golf Course and is putting the nearly 100 acres on the market.

Housing will replace golfing on scenic land in eastern Iowa as the golf course owning family sells property they have owned for generations.
