Westwood Golf Club
Westwood Golf Club first opened for play in 1928 as a nine hole course. The course was designed by Erik T. Larsen. The back 9-holes were added in 1966 and were designed by David Gill. The Front 9 holes underwent a complete renovation and layout change in 1997. The Front 9 are nestled amid rolling hills and challenge the golfer with slopes, doglegs, and the occasional blind approach shot. The Back 9 holes, in contrast to the Front 9, is constructed mainly on flat creekbottom land. Water comes into play on 5 of the 9 holes with heavy sand bunkering throughout. From the Blue Championship tees the slope is 120 with a rating of 70.5. The White tees a slope of 118 and rating of 69.4
