Timberline Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Peosta, Iowa.
Timberline Golf Course first opened for play in 1978. The course was designed by Mike Hall.
This extremely scenic course was designed amidst 250 acres of woods. The rolling hills and numerous oak trees in play will challenge the most experienced golfer. Even though the fairways are lined with trees, the landing areas are quite generous. The greens are large and undulating, so three putts are fairly common. Four ponds and two creeks come into play on eight holes. Spectacular elevation changes are prevalent throughout the course and provide some breathtakingly beautiful scenery. The last four holes are so difficult they have earned the nickname "Demon's Run."
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,545 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,318 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 604 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 139 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 17, a 439 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 6, a 485 yard par-5.
