Cedar Pines Golf Course, formerly named Green Valley Greens Golf Course, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Andover, Kansas.
Cedar Pines Golf Course first opened for play in 1988.
Water hazards come into play on some holes, and trees line most of the fairways. The signature hole is #5, a 361-yard, par 4, requiring a great tee shot to pass a lake coming into play on the left side of the fairway.
Andover's public golf course is located west of Andover Road on Highway 54. Cedar Pines offers a Pro Shop, a resident golf Pro who is available for lessons, concessions and golf carts for rent. The focus of the course is on teaching the techniques involved in the game of golf, and a swing trainer is available for use during lessons.
Andover's golf course is privately managed by Mr. Robert Bauer. Mr. Bauer has been giving golf leasons for 15 years, and is a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher. Cedar Pines hours of operation vary by season - but the course is generally open from 7am until sunset.
The course plays to a 9-hole par of 33. The back tees measure 2,761 yards, the middle tees play to 2,230 yards, and the forward tees are set at 2,050 yards.
