Hidden Lakes first opened for play in 1958. The course was designed by Floyd Farley.

Hidden Lakes offers a challenging round of golf for players of all abilities. The course is a rolling par 72 course measuring 6,584 yards. The course is made up of bluegrass fairways and tees, and bent grass greens. Bunkers guard every green and as the course's name suggests, there is a interconnected channel of lakes dispersed over the course to test the player's skill.
Hidden Lakes practice range has a large grass hitting area, with a fifty-yard chipping green, practice bunker, and two practice greens. Their range targets resemble actual greens to help you carry your practice onto the golf course. You may use your own balls on the practice greens at no charge. Hours of operation for the practice facilities are daylight to dark, weather permitting.
The practice range closes early on Wednesdays, and stays open late on Thursdays during the mowing season.
