Kingman Country Club, previously private, is now a semi-private 18 hole golf course located in Kingman, Kansas.
Kingman Country Club first opened for play in 1943.
This wide-open course has many grass bunkers. The Kansas wind is often a factor, so proper club selection is at a premium.
The course's signature hole is #3, featuring both water hazards and sand bunkers.
Blue tees: par-36, 2,906 yards
Red tees: par-36, 2,628 yards
The fate of the course was in jeopardy. It sold at auction in 2015 for a reported $379,500 after closing costs. After winning the auction the buyer, Shaun Weaver, gave a brief speech telling concerned citizens the course would stay open.
